Established in 1997, Balden has been producing lifesaving vehicles and equipment for all types of ships since then. It has proven itself in the sector with the products it has supplied to more than 500 ships sailing in the world's seas and has become one of the symbol companies of quality and trust, especially for the Turkish ship supply industry. It carries out and develops its production in its factory in Sekerpinar, Kocaeli, with its constantly renewed product range, observing international standards, in accordance with class certificates and specifications. The engineering staff, who are experts in their fields, continue their R&D studies by observing the ever-evolving technology and changing regulations.
Balden's product range includes free fall lifeboats, totally enclosed lifeboats, rescue boats, fast rescue boats, release hooks, GRP boxes and all kinds of GRP equipment and materials.
However, Balden also offers repair services for all types of life-saving vehicles. To date, it has been a reliable solution partner to hundreds of customers it has served in this field.
On August 13, 2025, the BALDEN brand and product rights were acquired and transferred from Balden Maritime Industry and Trade Ltd. by Balden Boat and Yacht Industry and Trade Ltd. Co.
With this acquisition:
- All BALDEN brand rights, production, distribution, and service rights now belong to BALDEN Boat and Yacht Industry and Trade Ltd. Co.
- Product quality, supply processes, and service principles will continue to be further strengthened.
- All sales, marketing, and technical support processes will be conducted under the umbrella of Balden Boat and Yacht Industry and Trade Ltd. Co.
